João Toledo
Masters in Cinema from the School of Fine Arts of UFMG. Postgraduate in Cinema in the Institute of Continuing Education at PUC Minas. Film critic for the online Magazine Filmes Polvo  (www.filmespolvo.com.br) under the column Corte Seco. Founding partner of Producer Sorvete. Director and editor of several short films shown at festivals and shows, and director of the collective feature film ‘’Estado de Sítio’’.

Leonardo Amaral
Graduated in Social Communication by UFMG, he is a critic and an essayist for the electronic Magazine Filmes Polvo, and he also contributed to magazines  Zingu and  Kinetics. He is a co-editor of the Magazine Lateral. He directed some short films selected for festivals in Brazil and co-directed the feature film ‘’Estado de Sítio’’. He joined the selection committee of the International Festival of Short Films of BH in 2010 and 2011.

Luiz Pretti
Luiz Pretti is a filmmaker, born in Rio de Janeiro and a founding partner of the collective producer Alumbramento. As a director he has four feature films and seven short films. As the editor he made the feature films Sábado à noite, by Ivo Lopes Araújo, As Horas Vulgares, by Rodrigo de Oliveira and Vitor Graize and Fim de Semana, by Ivo Lopes Araújo and Pedro Diógenes, besides the short films Adormecidos, by Clarissa Campolina, Dizem que os cães vêem coisas, by Guto Parente, and others. He also works as a curator, having been part of the selection committee Cine Ceará in 2007. He conducted Cine Alumbramento, film club dedicated to local production, in the city of Fortaleza, during 2009 and 2010.

Marcelo Miranda
Culture and film  reporter of the newspaper  O Tempo (Belo Horizonte) and film critic of the electronic magazine Filmes Polvo; collaborator of the printed magazines Filme Cultura and Teorema and the project Programadora Brasil. He joined the selection committee of the International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte in the editions of 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. He was a member of the selection committee of the 43rd Feature Films Festival of Brasilia and jury of the national competition of  short films of the 12th Londrina Film Shows in 2010. He joined the jury of the 5th Cineport - Film Festival of Portuguese Speaking Countries in 2011.

Ricardo Mehedff
Director and editor in cinema by George Washington University; director of well known short films such as ‘Capital Circulante’, ‘Um Branco Súbito', 'Noite Aberta' and 'UM'. His award-winning films were selected for more than 100 festivals, including major film events in the world such as: the Rotterdam Festival, Oberhausen, Havana, Guadalajara, Uppsala, Los Angeles, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Ricardo also has a distinguished resume as an editor. His works include: 'Favela on Blast' by Leandro HBL, ‘Os Gracies e o nascimento do Vale Tudo’ by Victor César Bota, ‘Irma Vap: O Retorno’ by Carla Camurati, ‘Antonia: a série’ production of O2 Films and “Carandiru: Other Stories'.

Tiago Mata Machado
Curator and filmmaker with a Master Degree in Multimedia Institute of Arts, University of Campinas (Unicamp), he was film critic for the newspaper “O Tempo” (1996/2000) and "Folha de Sao Paulo" (2000/2006); curator of exhibitions "Vanguards /Neovanguards" and "Subversive" in the International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte, and "Coletivos/68" in Forumdoc.BH. As a filmmaker, he is the author of the average film “Curra Urbana” (1998) and the feature films “O Quadrado de Joana” (2006) and “Os Residentes” (2010), released internationally in the 61st International Film Festival of Berlin and winner of several awards at festivals in Brazil.

Affonso Uchoa
He was born in São Paulo (SP / Brazil) in 1984. He lives and works in Contagem (MG / Brazil). He is a director and curator of film production. He directed the short film "Desígnio – Caderno de esboços e rascunhos a respeito de um filme chamado Mulher à Tarde" (2009) and the feature film "Mulher à Tarde" ("Woman in the Afternoon) (2010). He was a programmer of Humberto Mauro Movie Theater(2010) and has been a curator of the short-circuit program since 2009. He was part of the selection committee and composed curatorial for festivals such as the "International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte" and "Fórumdoc.bh."

Bruno Vasconcelos
Graduated in cinema from EICTV - Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV, Cuba. He works as a sound designer, editor, photographer and filmmaker. Member of the Collective of the Association of Community Image and the Association of Back Yard Movies  - in the latter he collaborates  in the making of of Forumdoc.bh - Festival of documentary and ethnographic film of Belo Horizonte.

Gracie Santos
She graduated in Journalism and Advertising from PUC Minas, with a post-graduate in Production and Criticism in Culture. She took a basic course in cinema at CEC and attended the art history course at the Gallery Celma Albuquerque for a year and a half. She worked at the radios Universidade, Guarani, and Terra Del Rei; as an assessor for the press offices of PUC Minas, Newton Paiva and Communication Publishing, and she has worked for 20 years at the newspaper Estado de Minas, where she is sub- editor of the Culture insert. She has been a judge at festivals such as Fluxus , and ArtMove and International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte.

Ricardo Alves Jr.
He graduated in Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires). He made his short movies "Material Bruto" in 2006 and "Convite para Jantar com o Camarada Stalin" in 2007. “Permanências”, his third album, debuted in November 2010 at the International Window Film of Recife, where he received the award Best Brazilian Short Film and it was premiered in the Competition of the International Critics Week in Cannes Festival 2011. He also organized and was a curator for the “EnTranse”  show in Buenos Aires (2008), and he participated in the selection of the 2009 Peripheral Visions  and of the International Short Film Festival of Rio de Janeiro2010 . In 2011, he was a collaborator for the programming of the Week of Directors.
